First create a new image, something avatar sized.
Next get the path tool set it to design, polygonal is fine.
On a transparent layer make several segments randomly, right to left, top to bottom, whatever your heart desires.
Don't make too many, but more than 2 or 3.
Now make a selection out of the path.
Look 2 steps above at the image if you don't remember.
Then fill the selection, with the bucket tool.
Release the selection.
Now duplicate the layer, and go to it.
Select the flip tool, make sure its set to horizontal.
Flip the layer and your done.
Merge the two if your happy with it, or go back and make some new random paths to get something new.

Actually I'd be interested to know that too.
My guess is he either used some screen recording software or he took screenshots and made them into a animated gif .... though he may have had to import those pointer and cross hair cursors ....
This reminds me of a thread one of the Alis posted on gimptalk about such screen recording software .... wonder if I can find it? _________________ http://www.denegibson.co.uk | http://www.angryghost.info |

Yep cam studio works best, but its a bit of a pain to get avi to gif.
I usually have to import the avi into an old micrsoft program, then convert it to gif.
Kinda sad really, any new program that does tha kind of thing has to have the same codec instaled, the old one doesnt care it just loads it up and shoots it out. _________________
